Common Termite Control Questions w/ Answers

How often should I have my house inspected or treated for termites?

In termite‑prone areas, most homes should have a professional inspection at least once a year to catch any activity early. Many owners wondering “how often should I treat my house for termites” are in neighborhoods where termites are common or have had issues in the past. A full treatment may provide multi‑year protection when paired with regular monitoring and proper maintenance. We recommend a schedule based on your home’s age, construction type, and past termite history.

Are termite treatments safe for my family, pets, and yard?

Professional termite products are designed for use around homes when applied by licensed technicians following label directions. If you’ve ever asked, “Is termite treatment safe for my pets and garden?”, the answer is that proper application and placement are the key factors. We carefully trench, drill, and apply products only where needed, then clean up and explain any temporary precautions. Our goal is to protect your structure from termites while helping you feel comfortable about what’s being used on your property.

How long does a termite treatment last and what kind of warranty do you offer?

Depending on the method used, a termite treatment can provide protection for several years, especially when it’s inspected and maintained as recommended. Many homeowners looking for “long‑term termite protection for my home” want both active treatment and ongoing monitoring. We pair our treatments with a service agreement or warranty that spells out what is covered and how retreatments are handled. Your technician will review all of this with you so you know exactly how your home is protected over time.

How do I know if I need professional termite control for my home?

You may need termite control if you see mud tubes on your foundation, soft or hollow‑sounding wood, bubbling paint, or piles of discarded wings near doors and windows. Homeowners who wonder “how do I know if I have termites or ants in my house” are usually reacting to these early warning signs. When we inspect, we check your interior, exterior, and accessible crawl or attic spaces to confirm what’s going on and how far it has spread. From there, we guide you through the best treatment options for your specific home and risk level.

What is the difference between a termite inspection and a termite treatment?

A termite inspection is a detailed evaluation of your home to look for active termites, old damage, and moisture or construction issues that attract them. This is the step many people are thinking of when they ask “do I need a termite inspection before buying a house” or “who can inspect my home for termites”. A termite treatment is the follow‑up service that actually targets and eliminates colonies using liquid barriers, baits, or a combination of both. Our team explains each option so you understand how it works, how long it lasts, and what kind of warranty or protection plan is included.

I was so impressed with Rickey. He was professional on time. I so appreciated his non high pressure evaluation of what his company could offer. After his inspection he also informed me of a drip leak under my home. He went above and beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend this company. If all the employees at BeeBees Pest are like Rickey you cant go wrong. Sharon

Less than a week before Christmas we call about a suspected mouse in the attic. The very next morning Beebe’s sent out Mr. Ricky Barnes to our home. He was right on time, called in advance prior to arrival to give a heads up, and was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the inspection. We’ve had great experiences in the past with our termite bond and the same has held true for the visit from Mr. Barnes. He walked us through the process of getting rid of our unwanted guests very thoroughly and seemed like he really enjoys his profession.

They came right out but charged me over $2000 to treat 2 beds and a chair for bed bugs. I felt like I had been taken advantage of... until the critters came back. Beebe's responded SUPER FAST and honored their warranty-
